week 3

it's the afternoon of the night before and week 3 of the kickaboutscotland podcast has just been uploaded. Craig Brown the ex-Scotland boss as per usual answered my begging text message immediately and said he'd love to come on...and i can tell you all he is a genuinely nice nice man.....which makes me wonder whether or not he was a pure bastard in the changing rooms....do you think??? I mean the Boston Strangler went home to his family every night...who'd have thought. Not that I'm comparing Craig to the character Tony Curtis played in that film...what was it called now, oh yeah, The Boston Strangler....though some would say his teams did a fair bit of choking. Not me of course..i would love it if we could stick it right up the cocky dutch (a saying that I'm sure is heard quite a lot in certain parts of Amsterdam). You can tell their ex-professionals because they've got their clothes on in the company of a bird...the bird being of course Lynne McCrossan whose nickname was never Lynne McCrossedeyes, but whom Gary MacKay, Heart of Midlothian legend, last night quite rightly remarked on her pink bra....I'm glad to see professional perving is still alive and well in some old pros..and I'm talking about Gary here.

first blog to talk about setting up a brand new podcast....so if you're into hearing about ex-scottish football pros, a blonde, a bookmaker and a washed up comedian this could be interesting reading......the show will be like Marley and Me without the dog, or Jennifer Anniston and it's doing my head in.......so I'm looking on this as therapy as Hannibal Lector did his chats with Clarice.
I understand in a blog you've got to really give a bit of real life - yourself...so it's either curly fries or mccains chunky cut home fries tonight. I'm more a maize based snack expert so potatoe based
frozed delicacies are out my sphere of knowledge. Anyway today I have been mostly tryinmg to get a link on Scotbet swebsite to link to thekickabout.com which in turn links to the podcast on Jellycast...Mickey Weir is awaying walking his dugs. Joe Tortalano's computer has crashed, Gary MacKay is coaching in the coca cola schools thing and lynne mccrossan is sending out all our press releases which i wrote today. And now I'm going to go for the curly fries (sounds like a headline about a cowboy being executed in the electric chair)...curly fries..... will i get that Scotbet link, will those curly fries be better than the mccain ones, will the kickabout podcast guys still want to get together this monday and will i watch ER tonight.......there i feel better already...my first blog....how was it for you?????
